The rue de Rocher will take you to the Grands Magasins (Paris’ most famous department stores, like Galeries Lafayette, or Printemps), and to keep your shopping on a roll, head towards the Place de la Madeleine (where the shop ERES is especially irresistible) where the luxurious fine-food shops Fauchon and Hédiard are located, and walk along the Faubourg Saint-Honoré which was selected as their address by many Haute Couture representant. Definitely some good food for shopping thoughts!
Shopping around the Opéra
If Haute Couture is just eye-candy for your budget, step out of the department stores, because more affordable shops are located on the way to the place de l’Opéra where the Palais Garnier sits, Paris’ historical opera house, which ceiling was hand-painted by Chagal.
